<div>On Monday, our family’s world was turned upside down when my nephew, Carter, and my mom, Laurie, were in a terrible car accident. Both were rushed to the hospital, and while my mom is currently in the ICU at EIRMC, Carter was transported to Primary Children’s Hospital, where he remains in the ICU fighting through very serious injuries.

<div>Carter is such a bright, strong, and loving boy. Seeing him hooked up to machines in the ICU is something no parent, sibling, or family member should ever have to experience. He has a long road to recovery , one that will involve extensive medical care, treatments, and time for healing.

<div>We are asking for help to ease the financial burden this tragedy has created. Between medical bills, travel, and the time away from work needed to be by Carter’s side, every donation will go directly toward supporting Carter and his Mom during this critical time.
