Support for Brenda’s Final Journey

As many of you know, my mom, Brenda, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma—an aggressive and unforgiving form of brain cancer. Due to her age, preexisting health conditions, and the tumor’s rapid growth, doctors have given us the heartbreaking news that she is not a candidate for surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation. The only option left is comfort care, keeping her as comfortable as possible until the Lord calls her home.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, and while we are cherishing every moment we have left with her, we are also faced with the reality of planning for what’s ahead. Unfortunately, my mom did not have life insurance, and despite my efforts, I was unable to secure a policy for her due to her diagnosis. This means that the financial responsibility of her final expenses falls entirely on me.
