❤Help Support Braxton❤

On the 16th of August, 14 year old Braxton suffered a cardiac arrest while at school. The staff had to use the defibrillator and performed CPR to revive him prior to him being airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital. He was in an induced coma in intensive care.

The good and positive news is that he is awake and survived this traumatic event. Braxton is still receiving medical treatment and has been moved to the cardiac surgery ward.

From previous specialist reports, his previous two collapses in April and the information collected from the defibrillator used at school. It shows that he had ventricular fibrillation (VF) which is rare for his age and is life threatening, as VF is the number one cause of cardiac arrests.

The school’s amazing response to using the defibrillator and CPR saved his life.

 Specialists have advised that he will remain in hospital for several weeks. 

As you can imagine, it is a difficult time for Braxton and his family!
As the future is uncertain and they do not yet know the extent or cost of Braxton's rehabilitation, the funds raised will mainly go to support any treatments, ambulance and costs for Braxton.
