<div>Hi, my name is Allura and I'm fundraising for my sweet cat Tiabeanie, who just turned two years old this May. Bean is not just a pet- she’s family. She’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever met, and anyone who’s ever spent even a minute with her will tell you the same. She’ll climb into your lap without hesitation or yell and headbutt you until you rub her belly. She’s a cuddler, a comfort, and a constant source of joy in my life.

<div>After I lost my previous cat, Sushi, I was devastated. Bean brought me back to life. She is like a child to me. Every night we curl up together in bed, and she falls asleep right next to me. The thought of losing her now, especially to something easily fixable, is more than unbearable- but we’re not giving up.

<div>Bean is already a fighter. She survived FIP and was officially considered cured in June 2024. But now she’s facing another life- threatening challenge.

<div>A few days ago, Bean was rushed to the emergency vet after a sudden decline. She was found to have a large, cystic mass in her abdomen and internal bleeding, most likely from her liver. The bleeding had been happening slowly over the past two weeks but worse and rapidly in the last 48 hours causing a dangerous drop in her red blood cell count.

<div>She received a blood transfusion that stabilized her, but now she urgently needs surgery to remove the mass. Her doctors are confident that with the surgery Beanie will make a full recovery and live a normal healthy life afterwards to quote them: “Bean looks like she is begging us to live.” the surgery is scheduled for August 5, 2025. A specialist surgeon will perform the procedure, and Bean will need to recover in the hospital under close monitoring which may become the most expensive part depending on how she heals.

<div>We’ve already spent $5,000 on emergency vet visits, diagnostics, and the transfusion. The surgery and recovery is estimated to cost another $3,000- $5,000.
