Leo the Lion

Last week,  Leo was diagnosed with “Infantile Spasms” at Seattle Children's Hospital.  This is a rare but very serious and heartbreaking conditioning affecting his body and ultimately his brain.  The cause is still unknown and the damage this has already caused to his brain is still unknown.   Leo has a very long road ahead of him with tests, treatments, and possibly surgery/ies.  Leo will be spending a lot of time in and out of Children’s Hospital with extended stays also.  As of right now (when Leo is home) he is to be isolated from everyone except for Jens and Danielle, as his little body cannot risk getting any kind of sickness while undergoing treatment.  
Again, there is so much unknown right now.  We do Know that this is going to be a long, hard and expensive process.  (The price of the treatment medicine alone is incredible)  Please keep Leo in your thoughts and prayers and please consider donating to this fund for him!  The last thing Jens and Danielle need to worry about right now will be the expenses for all of this, as they are fighting for the best possible outcome and life for their son.
