Heath Memorial: Help Support Our Friend Ashley

This week, Heath has been described to me as 'a bonafide leader of men. His personality had a gravitational pull like no other... and his ability to hold even the most hopeless people accountable was legendary (I know, because I was once hopeless and followed his lead without question). He made me a more complete human. He almost never told me what I wanted to hear... he just worded it perfectly, sometimes nice and constructively; other times harsh and brutal.... either way, he knew exactly how to motivate and get the most out of me in the best of ways- so that I could be a better man, a better partner, and better friend to others (and himself).'
This quote sums up so many of our relationships with Heath. He knew everyone, and remembered you by name. He connected with you on a personal level and made your feel valued. He listened to your bad beat stories (of poker and life), and offered you the feedback you needed to hear. And he was damn witty while doing it.
We all are going to miss having a presence like Heath in our world, but nobody more than Ashley- his longtime girlfriend, and recent fiance. Heath's void will be felt on so many levels, including financially. This is one place where we can step up and help ease that void.
Donations will be used to pay for Heath's final expenses and help support Ashley while she grieves his loss. Money will be allocated to rent, groceries, utility bills, car payments, car insurance, and any other necessary expenses that need to be paid over the next 6 months. Heath's friend, Terry, will be in charge of the final expenses to help alleviate any undue stress this may cause.
If you knew Heath personally, or ever posted a gofundme yourself, you know that Heath gave generously to everyone else's causes. Whether it was the Covid Dealer Fund, a school fundraiser for your children, a medical emergency for a poker player, or your girl scout cookies- Heath was there to support you.
