<div>my name is Hailey Miller, Ashley’s younger sister, along with Alyssa Balletta, Gennaro’s older sister. We are writing to you today to spread the story of two of the people we hold closest in our hearts. On June 8th, Ashley married her best friend, Gennaro—the man of her dreams. Both Ashley and Gennaro worked tirelessly, holding down multiple jobs to save for their perfect day. After two years of saving, they finally had their dream wedding, a beautiful day with perfect weather, surrounded by family and friends who laughed, ate, and danced the night away in celebration of their love.

<div>However, instead of this being the happiest time of their lives, within a week of their wedding Gennaro was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma that has spread throughout his entire upper body. This diagnosis has turned their entire world upside down and suddenly put their dreams and plans on hold. We are all terribly frightened as to what may come from this and we ask that you all keep his health in your prayers.

<div>This is truly devastating as two years ago, Gennaro lost both of his parents unexpectedly within two months of each other and it breaks our hearts and makes us wonder why such tragic events happen to such good people. Gennaro was brave and fearless and donated his own stem cells for his mother’s treatment and will now be fighting his own battle. But we trust that God is good and will see Gennaro through this like He has done before in the past.

<div>As anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Ashley and Gennaro, they can attest to how wonderful and caring they are. They have never been the ones to ask for help but are always the first to offer it. They have always been there for others in times of need, and I am starting this GoFundMe for them in hopes to give them the help they would never seek out themselves. As they navigate through this difficult time, they are also facing the financial burdens that come with medical treatments, care, and future fertility treatments to grow their family. Any help during this time, big or small, will be appreciated forever and would make the world of a difference for them.
