Help Support an LGBTQ Muslim Family

Hello,

my name is Dmitra Smith(she/her) and I am a human rights activist. This is my second Gofundme campaign helping others. I met Malik over a year ago through my favorite punk band called The Muslims, who just came out with another amazing album. Please check them out. Malik is a wonderful person who has overcome many challenges and barriers. He is an incredible caregiver and is doing everything possible to improve the situation for himself, his sister and her beautiful baby. Social service programs and services are not easy to come by where they live, his country has been hit extremely hard by covid, and for his own security as a nonbinary Black person, we can't even say exactly where that is. I am writing a bit to vouch for him and assure donors that he and his family are real and true and they could use our help to get them through to the end of the year. I support Black LGBTQ+ lives and I'm hoping others will join me in supporting Malik and his family. One US dollar equals 5 dollars in local currency where Malik's family lives, so you can make a huge difference for them very easily.  I will ensure all funds are sent directly to Malik.  Thank you so much.

Hello my name is Malik, I'm a black nonbinary Muslim person based in South America and I'm here to ask for your help. About 5 years ago, I was kicked out of my family home for being who I am. Since that time I have been struggling a lot to survive, like with rent and food. Around 3 months ago my sisters moved to my house because my birth family doesn't accept them as well. My younger sister is a young mother and is pregnant of 1 month now. We don't have a job and this pandemic is making it very hard to us to find a job and we have been struggling to get money for the rent and food. We decided to make a gofundme with Dmitra's help to get some funds to help us with expenses. Anything is already very welcome and will help us a lot. Thank you so much for considering us.
