Help Amanda Focus on Healing
If you know Amanda, then you know this: she’s the first to show up, the last to leave, and always puts others ahead of herself. She’s the friend who drops everything to help, the colleague who works tirelessly, and the mom who gives her all—often burning the candle at both ends without a second thought. Amanda has never been one to ask for help... and she still isn’t. So I’m asking for her.
Amanda needs her tribe now more than ever.
Four years ago, Amanda underwent a major brain surgery to address a cerebellar tonsillar herniation. It was an incredibly painful and traumatic experience—one she openly said she would never want to endure again. Since then, she’s battled ongoing migraines, but pushed through with incredible strength and grace, never letting it stop her from living or giving her all.
A recent routine physical uncovered concerning symptoms that led to a series of tests. The results confirmed that Amanda’s cerebellar tonsillar herniation has returned—this time with even more serious complications, including effects on her heart.
Amanda is a fighter, and while she is not choosing surgery at this time, her focus remains on her husband, Dan, and their four young children. She’s doing everything she can to ensure that her family is prepared and supported, making sure things are in place in case her condition progresses quickly. Even now, her energy is spent not on herself, but on protecting and providing for the people she loves most.
This is to allow Amanda to focus on her health without financial fear looming over her.
With the uncertainty of her condition, Amanda is facing each day with courage and intention. She doesn’t know if she has one year or seventy—but she’s choosing to prepare for all possibilities. Her deepest priority is making sure her husband and children are cared for and secure, no matter what the future may hold. That’s the kind of person Amanda is—always putting her family first, even in the face of the unknown.
All donations will go directly to Amanda and her family to help with:
1. Medical expenses
2. Time off work and lost income if the time comes that Amanda’s symptoms progress and she needs to take time off 3. Mortgage and household costs if needed
4. Securing financial stability for her children and Dan.
Amanda is currently working two jobs. She deserves to be enjoying precious time with her family.
If you’re able to give, even a small amount, will make a huge difference. If you’re not able to give financially, sharing this page and sending prayers or positive thoughts is just as meaningful.
Let’s come together to lift up Amanda the way she has lifted so many of us. She deserves support. She deserves peace of mind. And she deserves to know she’s not in this alone.
