<div>My mom Nancy was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer (adenocarcinoma). Things have moved fast in that she’s already facing an imminent major exploratory surgery, followed by chemotherapy and possibly radiation. Additionally, she has had several surgeries / 'oscopies.

<div>She lives independently with most immediate family like my sister and her grandkids some distance away in West Texas. She’s a school nurse, and anyone who knows her knows how much she cares for the kids and families she helps every day. Working in public education doesn’t pay much, and now she’s already in the hole due to testing, imaging, and hospital bills. She’s also missed work for appointments and recovery, and that loss of income has made things even harder.

<div>I’m setting this up to help her cover medical costs, lost wages, and basic living expenses while she focuses on treatment and recovery. My mom has spent her life helping others and this time she’s the one who needs some help.
