My name is Sylvia. A close friend of mine recently experienced an unimaginable loss, the sudden passing of her mother after a short, unexpected illness. The emotional toll is heavy and sadly, so is the financial one.

This fundraiser is to help with the medical costs and to honor her mother’s final wish: to be laid to rest back home in Barbados. While my friend is incredibly private and would never ask for help herself, I know how much this would mean to her and her family.
