This Go Fund Me is in support of Mitchell Laurance, who has been serving in the United States Coast Guard since 2006. He is a loving father, friend, and brother, who always has a smile on his face even through the toughest times.
   Mitch is in need of some financial support to help pay court fees to ensure he will get the time he deserves with his boys and remain financially stable in this challenging time. He is a great father and fighting right now in court as hard as he can. Lawyer and court fees are extremely taxing on a military member's income.
   A little over a year ago he and his wife decided together that he would go overseas to Bahrain with the goal to pay off debts, save money, and come back home to a number one pick. When he returned a year later from the middle east he was served with divorce papers 20 minutes after getting  off the plane, a restraining order so he could not see his two boys, and his wife had a new boyfriend in Scotland who she met while online gaming. She drained their accounts, ran up their credit cards, and left Mitch with many unpaid and overdue bills. He had wanted to make this great sacrifice to serve overseas for a year to help his family get ahead and instead everything came crumbling down around him when he returned.
   Mitch has remained positive and continues to enjoy every second he gets with his boys even when battling this hardship every day.
