Help Sue get her mobility back

Hi my name is Melissa. I'm fundraising to help Susan be able to get another mobility scooter and regain some of her freedom.

Last night, 7th June, Susan was hit by a car whilst travelling home in her mobility scooter. The impact sent Sue into the middle of the road with her mobility scooter on top of her. Luckily she wasn't alone as her daughter was there to call for help. Good job as the car drove off. When help arrived and they were able to move the mobility scooter off Sue they found it was snapped into 3 pieces. Completely unfixable.

Susan relies on her mobility scooter to get her around, without this she's unable to leave the house at all. This is her freedom and without her scooter the driver has taken this away from her. We won't let them win though.

I'm hoping to raise at least £1000 to cover half the cost of a replacement.

Susan was laid on the floor for 2 hours in agony, freezing cold, with a couple fire fighters for company whilst they waited for an ambulance. Luckily she has no broken bones but she still needs to rest up meaning she is going to be bed bound for a while whilst she heals. Let's not let this driver take her freedom away from any longer than is necessary. 

Her daughter Jemma was going to try do this herself but wanted to give her less to concentrate on so she can be there for her Mum without worrying.
