help storm not sewerslide

hi! this is insane, but i’ve had people around me telling me to try it for months if not years now, and since this is probably the longest time i’ve ever been in an emergency like this, i think the time is now.

if you’ve been following me for anything upwards of a year you know i am like an open sore. things are constantly going wrong. i’m exhausted, sick, and completely emotionally disjointed.

i always thought it was awful of me to consider asking others for help, because i always felt there were people out there in worse positions than me- but the other day while complaining to a friend, they said “you are a minority too,” which weirdly, made me feel a lot better. im a lesbian with a serious mental illness. i have no family to fall back on- i didn’t move out of my family home for fun, i moved out to escape, and to begin to heal. i can’t do any of those things from the position i’m currently at; never being taken seriously by doctors, social workers, and hospitals, because of my age and gender, and being at the mercy of whoever lets me sleep on their couch.

i’m slowly realising it’s not my fault, and that maybe it’s okay to ask for help, maybe i deserve it. i really am in a lot of trouble.

please don’t feel under any pressure to donate, but if you can, the cost of a coffee or bus fare to my appointments is already more help than you can imagine. and you know the deed will be returned once i am back on my feet!!!
