Help Stop Anti-Abortion Graphic Ads!

The Viewer Discretion Legislation Coalition was formed in London, Ontario in the Fall of 2020 in response to very graphic anti-abortion pamphlets being delivered to private homes. These images have affected thousands of people across this country since 2011. The VDLC is working with politicians to help bring change in how these pamphlets can be distributed. There is a Private Member's Bill (Bill 259, the Viewer Discretion Act -images of fetuses) that was introduced into Ontario Legislature in March of 2021 that is currently waiting for debate. We also have a branch of the VDLC in Alberta where we are trying to help bring change in that Province as well.

Freedom of Expression is NOT absolute.

Too many children are being negatively affected by these grotesque images. Women are being shamed. Men are being hurt. It has to stop. We have a right to feel safe from such images being forced upon us in our own homes.

We are asking for these pamphlets to be enclosed in envelopes with a Viewer Discretion Warning on them.

Please help us in this fight. The VDLC is a non-profit corporation. We exist solely on fundraising for our overhead costs of printing, signs, website, etc.
