On June 16th 1997, Stevie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia grade M3 (AML) She went on to have just Chemotherapy as Jordan, her brother, was not a tissue type for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). She had infections after each round of Chemo and on the last round, she had MRSA and she was in intensive care for 6 weeks. Fast forward to 5th May 1999, Stevie relapsed and had 3 rounds of Chemo and then she had Full Body Irradiation with an incredibly strong round of Chemo to empty her bone marrow of any living tissue and she then had an experimental type of BMT. Zoom forward to 2017/2018 and Stevie started having really bad kidney infections in early 2018, Stevie had 2 benign tumours in her Parathyroid, so she had lots of tests including a CT Scan. Stevie had her Thyroid and 2 Parathyroid removed in November and they found a Malignant Sarcoma in her Thyroid. All gone through surgery but they also found a lump in her left breast through the 1ST Scan. Come June 2018 Stevie found a lump in her left breast. She went back to the clinic and they found 2 lumps, 1 in her breast and 1 under her arm. 2 biopsies later an 14th June, Stevie was diagnosed with Grade 2 Breast Cancer. Because Stevie has had all that treatment pre BMT, they are unsure what treatment she can have. Stevie had a MRI  but the CT Scan is the important one, just to make sure that it is not metastasized. Stevie has to have  PET scan because there is an abnormality on her hip,So the OP is being delayed till they get the results of this investigation.
Stevie has been  battling health issues since she was a young girl and is going to give her all to beat this AGAIN!!!!
We are trying to raise money for Stevie as she is going to be out of work for approx 1 yr, Stevie will have no income over this time period so we are trying to raise funds to relieve some of her stress. Thank you for reading Stevie's story.
