We’re reaching out for help on behalf of Steve, a kind-hearted, brave young boy who faces each day with strength and resilience. Steve lives with a prosthetic leg, and although he meets every challenge with a smile, he’s now in urgent need of specialized care that only Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago can provide.

On June 26th, 2025, Steve, his mom, and his sibling will be traveling from Michigan to Chicago for a crucial appointment. This trip is not just a routine check-up—it’s a series of medical evaluations, fittings, and adjustments needed to ensure Steve can receive the most comfortable, high-functioning prosthetic leg possible. This could dramatically improve his mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Steve’s family lives on a very fixed income, and covering the costs of this trip is simply beyond their means. We’re asking for $1,360 to help cover:
	•	Transportation to and from Chicago
	•	Lodging for the family during the stay
	•	Food and basic travel necessities
