My father, Steve Ankney, has always been someone who puts others first. When a wildfire swept through our area, he was focused on saving the livestock, not realizing that his own home was at risk. In a matter of moments, everything he owned was destroyed—his trailer, car, clothing, and years of memories. He escaped with only the clothes on his back, and now faces the daunting task of rebuilding his life from scratch.

 The loss has been overwhelming for our family. Steve is a prideful man, and I know he might be upset that I'm asking for help on his behalf, but the truth is, he needs it. The funds raised will go directly toward temporary housing, food, basic essentials, and hopefully a new vehicle to help him get back on his feet. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in his journey to recovery.
