Help Steve Get through a Heart Transplant

Steven Knapp is waiting for a heart transplant - he is 35, he and Chelsea have 2 small children (Riley & Lucas) and Steve will be in the hospital for the next 12 months (at a minimum). He lost his heart on Easter Sunday due to a congenital defect's catastrophic failure. He is on an artificial heart now and listed #2 nationally on the organ donor wait list. His family lives in the Albany area and we are collecting funds to help cover train tickets, food and daycare (basic living expenses) since Chelsea has to take time off of work to travel to NYC and Steve is obviously not working for the next 12 months through transplant and recovery. Any donation is greatly appreciated. If everyone that reads this can donate $5 it would go a long way to helping Steve & Chelsea get through the next 12-18 months. Funds will be used as they come in to provide for Steve's family (groceries, diapers, utility bills and travel expenses). Chelsea has to take the train to NYC to visit Steve every week, she cannot afford to stay in NYC overnight, so she spends her 1 day off a week riding the train down and back to see him while her dad takes care of their kids.
