Help Stephanie Tubb recover from tragic accident

Donation protected
Where do I even begin? Ill start by saying my name is Michael Klein. Stephanie Tubb is my baby sister. She's 33yrs old. On January 10th at approximately 4am she was walking to work like she has a million other times when she was hit by a garbage truck. She was life flighted to the closest hospital equipped with a trauma unit. When myself and her husband Nathaniel arrived at the hospital we initially were not told anything. We sat with our thoughts for over 2hrs before the Dr finally came out and proceeded to tell us that my sister had lost both of her legs . Her right leg was amputated above the knee and her left leg was amputated below the knee. She also sustained 3 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a laceration above her left eye that required several stitches and a concussion. I just keep thinking ill wake up from this terrible dream but every minute that passes I'm faced with the reality that my baby sister may never walk again. My soul is shattered for her, Nathaniel and their 3 children who are 1yr, 3yrs, and 11yrs old. We just don't understand. Stephanie walked to work every morning rain, snow, sleet or hail just to try and give her babies a better life than she had. She never complained. In one single miniscule moment in time, her life and family's lives were changed forever. Stephanie was sedated during life flight and surgery and wasn't awakened until roughly 8hrs after the accident. So she had no idea even when we did. The dread of knowing she'd wake up to learn her legs are gone made the hours we waited to see her seem like an eternity. The devastation we seen once she was awakened from sedation is something I wish nobody ever has to endure. This family is lost right now. Nathaniel worked opposite shifts as Stephanie so there was always someone to take care of the kids. Working isn't a possibility at the moment. Its proving difficult for him to get to and from the hospital and see my sister because he cannot bring the kids. He's trying to hold it all together by himself and we're doing the best we can to help him. The Tubb family desperately needs your help. Medical expenses, support for the 3 children, bills will stack up and they will need a handicap equipped vehicle soon. I wish I could take their financial burden away more than anything or anyone but I can't. So please, if you can donate anything at all, we'd greatly appreciate it more than you'll ever know. Every little bit helps. Sharing my sisters story is just as important. Please share as much as you can so we can get this known as far and wide as possible. I personally want to thank you all for reading, sharing and donating. It means the world to myself and the Tubb family during this difficult time. Thank you.
