Help Stephanie Heal from Breast Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Stephanie Dawn and I have Stage 3 breast cancer in both breasts.

I never thought I would ever see those words in the same sentence. I have lived an organic lifestyle for 30 years, eaten organic foods, meditated, received body work, energy work and counseling to transmute negative thoughts and emotions for many decades! I have practiced yoga for as long, I breastfed both my boys, I am healthy, or so I thought. While I could spend a lot of time wondering "why me", I could spend just as much time wondering "why not me?" We live in a very toxic world, our food, our air, our soil and our water has been poisoned with toxins in the form of pesticides and herbicides for as long as I have been living.  As you may know, I have been an environmental activist about all of this for many years. 1 in 8 women will experience breast cancer, 1 in 3 people will experience cancer. I am officially a statistic.

I have cancer in both breasts and it has spread to my lymph nodes under my right arm. About a month ago, I began to experience severe migraine type headaches. They were absolutely debilitating and concerned me deeply, as I have never suffered from headaches like that. I thought it may be my eyeglass prescription and had my eyes checked. While I did need a new prescription, my optometrist assured me my eyes were healthy and what I was experiencing was something other than eye strain.

After consulting with family, I decided to admit myself to Urgent Care one Saturday morning when my boys were with their father. I was there for about 6 hours. They gave me a CT scan, blood work and an upper chest X Ray. They all came back normal. The doctor who saw me was deeply concerned about a lump in my right breast that I had had an ultrasound for a year earlier that turned up no tumor, no cancer. I thought it may be a lump due to menopause or a lymph issue as I had been working out a great deal for many months prior to finding it and it's formation seemed very sudden to me. At around the time the headaches began, I developed what I thought was an infection in the nipple area that was causing me great pain.

What I have now learned is that severe headaches and vision issues are common with later stage breast cancer. While the headaches have subsided thank God, I am now experiencing varying degrees of tinnitus, a constant ringing in the ears. I am also in daily pain as the "infection" was the tumor breeching the wall of the areola. It's 3am as I write and the pain woke me up.

After a friend sent me a link to the Hope4Cancer clinic in Mexico, I spent hours researching their site and I have decided to go there immediately for their one year program which starts with a three week inpatient stay in Baja, California and will be followed up with two more visits within the year. They offer many therapies that boost the immune system and create a very inhospitable environment to cancer cells. I will exhaust all roads within a "naturopathic oncology" philosophy to heal my breast cancer prior to considering radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. I know this may seem unusual for many, but to me it makes perfect sense. What I have learned thus far is that an individual's cancer journey is as unique as each person and the person in question must be deeply invested and believe that a treatment plan will work.

I am excited by the Hope4Cancer clinic's use of a multi-pronged approach to healing cancer: organic nutrition and juicing, highlighting vitamin C and laetrile or B17,  heat therapy and a hyperthermia treatment utilizing infra red sauna; sono photo dynamic therapy aka light therapy, ozone and oxygen therapies, spiritual and emotional counseling (my divorce has not yet finalized and while I have been doing a lot of emotional work for the past two years around it, I know there's more, which I am excited about! Spiritual counseling changed my life, which is why I have practiced it for the past two decades) and something else called immunotherapy which I look forward to learning more about.

Needless to say this is an expensive journey. So many of my friends have already reached out desiring to help. Well, here's a concrete way you can support me and my children. My life as I know it has officially come to an end. This has been very difficult for me to reconcile as I receive great joy from helping others as a life and business coach to women entrepreneurs, and as a strategist and coach to my large Purium superfoods team. I am no longer able to pursue my work as I once did in both of those capacities and must prioritize self care, detoxing and deeply nourishing my body and healing my immune system and my emotional well being.

I would be deeply honored and humbled if you found it in your heart to support my healing  journey with whatever you are called to give. I need the funds immediately to reimburse family who have stepped up to make this happen in a very swift way. I will offer updates here and via Facebook Live when I return from Mexico. I leave next Tuesday June 18th so everything is happening very fast.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Stephanie
