Recently our daughter, Stella , was diagnosed with juvenile indiopathic scoliosis. She has
a 35 degree curve in her spine. Without
intervention she could have serious issues
down the road. I am shocked that her
insurance has denied the treatment that her
Orthopedic surgeon  has recommended.

Stella will be enduring a series of 4 casting
around her back that she will have to wear for 3  months at a time. This will probably be a
year long process.  In order for this cast to be
properly put on she will have to be put under
general anesthesia. Since her insurance thinks that a 35 degree curve is not “severe” enough
the facility, anesthesia and doctor fees all fall
upon us. It’s been a hard year as you all know. We are very private people so it’s hard to put
this out here. We appreciate any donation,
