Help Steffie to go home for her mom's funeral

“Happiness is seeing your mother smile.”

It is so heartbreaking for my friend that she can no longer see her mother’s smile in person.

Steffie Nitura, a Filipino international student who lost her job few months ago due to closure of the hotel she was working since pandemic has started, wants to go home, to her home country, the Philippines to bid her last farewell to her loving mom.

After losing her job, the money that she saved for working so hard went to her rentals and bills. Her family in the Philippines also got affected negatively by the pandemic so she couldn’t also ask for monetary help from them.

Last Friday (May 29, 2020) she received a not so good news from her sister that their mother is sick. Earlier today (June 5, 2020), she received the saddest news no-one wants to hear about, her mother already joined our Creator.

The money that will be donated will be used to pay for her deferral and one-way trip ticket back to the Philippines.
