Help Stay at Home Dad and Daughter
Donation protected
My long term domestic partner and I are separating, and I have received notice of eviction from our family home. I don't have any money to suddenly live independently with my daughter because I have been a stay at home dad and caregiver for my daughters and disabled partner for 13 years, and was disabled by Graves’ Disease hyperthyroidism for years prior. My oldest daughter passed away from DIPG brainstem cancer in 2015. I also have ADHD and enrolled in vocational rehabilitation assistance to finish college as a career path from disability, and hoping to start attending Mount Wachusett Community College this Fall. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I changed almost all of my daughters' diapers, potty trained, bathed, brushed hair, trimmed nails, changed clothes, developmental play and crafts, read bedtime stories, met the school bus, drove to and from school, attended school events and meetings, medical, dental, counseling appointments, extracurricular activities, and more. Housework I did included the grocery shopping and budgeting, cooking, driving, dishes, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, toilets, trash, mowing, landscaping, shoveling and snowblowing, general maintenance, gardening, and more. I also played a support role for my ex-partner with her career.
