Help Stassen get his cranial helmet

Story

Hi there, my name is Shimone and I'm fundraising for my little baby boy Stassen. He's 5 months old and desperately needs a cranial helmet to correct his headshape. He has: Right Plagio & Brachycephaly, 96% on Cranial Index, 18mm Asymmetry, 4-5 months treatment time (approx.) We took him for an assessment last week and found out that he is in the severe category. So treatment has to start as soon as possible. Unfortunately the NHS doesn't offer this treatment as they see it as cosmetic and we have to have his treatments done privately. The treatment is quite expensive and there is a chance that he will outgrow the helmet before his treatment is finished and then we'll need a 2nd helmet - that's IF we don't start ASAP. When we went for the assessment it was heart wrenching! I believe I did everything right from the day he was born. Always made him sleep on his back, loads of tummy time, bought the Sleepcurve mattress, stopped using his bouncer, etc. I noticed his headshape was wrong the day he was born, but I was reassured by midwife's & GP's that it will correct itself. Unfortunately it didn't and just kept worsening. Now at 5 months old Stassen is in the severe category and the only thing that will help him, costs an arm and a leg. I don't normally ask for help but this is for my baby boy. He is our little miracle/rainbow baby and I only want to give him the best chance in life. ** Stassen's treatment will be done by Technology in Motion at the Esher clinic. They will fit him with TiMbandAir helmet. *** I will post regular updates so that who ever donated can follow his progress. You will essentially take the journey with him.
