Hello all, my name is Stacy. Our transmission went out several weeks ago and it's cheaper to put on a new one than get a new van. We would like to put on a new transmission that comes with a 100,000-mile warranty. Total cost is estimated at $5,419.05. I work full-time and have decent credit, but due to student loans and not enough revolving credit, I have not been approved for a personal loan. Any little bit helps. Our friend has graciously let us share her van in the meantime, but we would prefer to not have to do that to her for any longer than necessary. Thanks for any help.
