Stacy was recently diagnosed on 1/4 with an aggressive blood cancer called ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia). We have been told that it is at a high level and she will most likely need a bone marrow transplant. Stacy and our family are currently in NJ. She is currently admitted at CINJ in New Brunswick going through the first phase of induction for the next 29 days. Afterwards, we will start the next phase of chemo outpatient for 6-8 months and then 2 years after that of management chemo.
Currently the cancer has spread to her spine and brain. As much as we wanted to avoid asking for assistance, we have decided that the time has come to reach out. Unfortunately, due to COVID, Stacy cannot work as a Landscape Architect and does not have medical insurance.
Before this diagnosis, Stacy kept herself super healthy via nutrition and stay super active. Due to her lifestyle, it is was has made her so strong to fight this!
All funds raised will go towards helping Stacy fight, explore all options available to her and take the huge medical financial cost off of her. Please know that there is much more than this hospital stay and future visits / medication that will not be covered by medicaid or charity care. We have been made aware that there many things with this aggressive cancer that need to be out of pocket.
We would like to thank all those have supported us thus far with prayers. Anyone who has spoken to Stacy recently is in complete awe of her positivity and determination. Cancer may have started the battle, but we know that God will finish it!
We will do our best to keep you all posted via this platform, we have a long road ahead of us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. xoox
