Help Spring stay afloat

Spring Atelier was a passion project I began a year and half ago after years or dreaming and working to build a creative home base for outside the box hairstylists and artists. My intention was to create a learning space for Hudson Valley hairstylists to both further hone their craft via independent education as well as experiment and network - to broaden their careers from behind the chair into various freelance industries ( ie, runway, bridal, editorial, film and tv union hairstyling). It has been so rewarding to see stylists step out of their comfort zones and gain the confidence to take firmer control over their careers and abilities and to  expand their earning potential.  And most of all to watch an inspired creative network form! It has also been important to offer aspiring educators a place to teach and share their own techniques and curriculum. (Spring is truly independent of corporate affiliates and product lines. We endorse technique and creativity over corporate trends.)

In these difficult and uncertain times I am heartbroken at the prospects of having to close up shop and halt the wonderful momentum that has been building as well as walk away from the various larger upcoming projects that have been postponed due to the quarantine measures in place, including our first artist in residence program and a few immersion trips. I realize money is tight and of concern to everyone at the moment, but i believe at a  grassroots level, several small donations ..$5 -10 could make or break so many small businesses at the moment.  As we  all currently try and spread the wealth around our communities to help keep our beloved local businesses, restaurants, and service workers  a float over these next few weeks and months, I humbly ask for your help to keep Spring’s most immediate bills paid and doors open so we can continue to be a creative hub for the Hudson Valley hairstyling  and artistic beauty community.
