Help sponsor Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School

Donation protected
We are reaching out to our community to see if you all would come together with us to raise donations for the children who attend this school. This school was chosen because of the many sad and unfortunate stories of what most if not all go through. Octavia wanted to reach out to as many as she could to help sponsor this school. The plan is to have the children write an essay on if they were given $100 dollars who would they give it to and why. We know that this is short notice but we are hopeful that with the help of our amazing community we can make this possible for the children who have had a very difficult year! Some have had to stay home with siblings while their parents work & the teachers have been working non stop with these students until 10pm sometimes to help them succeed. Let us all come together and show them that it takes a village to raise our children even if we are not in their village, caring and sharing can reach from across nations just as Gods hands reach near and far. If you would like to be a major part of deeply touching underprivileged 6-8 grade children in a mighty way you can donate here. Or if you feel it in your heart and want to donate shoes, clothing or toiletries you can reach out to Octavia Torres or you can reach out to myself Stevie Heller and we will arrange a time for pick up. We are hoping that we can collect donated items by 12/14. We sincerely thank you all!

More information about Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School: Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School is an independent, faith-based middle school for students of limited resources primarily from Richmond’s East End neighborhood.  All students receive a full-tuition scholarship to attend. Through a program focused on academic, social, and spiritual development, we help prepare students for success in high school, college and in their own communities.  We value parents and volunteers as integral to our success both as a School and a community of affection.  Helping to ensure that our students are on a path toward a full and decent life is our fundamental reason for being here.
