spike was diagnosed with a gi issue at the vet. Sent home and put on zofran. They did a x-ray and wrongfully released him saying the corn cob was passed through his body and made its way to the colon, which means it would exit out of the body on its own. Still throwing up Friday the 9th and not doing well. Saturday he goes back to the vet and gets another x-ray, which indicates the corn cob he has in his colon is actually in his small intestines. Giving very short time before his bowl could have ruptured. With that being said I was given the choice of having him put down or doing a 5,000 surgery. I picked surgery because at the end of the day it’s not his fault and mistakes happen. They were able to do the surgery and remove 1 foot of his small intestine. Fast forward it’s the 16th, I'm back at the vet and finding out Spike has pancreatitis and his ulcer is bleeding. I'm in desperate need to keep my boy here and I need any help I can get.
