<div>Our sweet 2-year-old daughter, <strong>Spenser Rae</strong>, is the light of our lives. She is wild, funny, smart, caring, and full of personality — the kind of little girl who makes everyone around her smile.

<div>Recently, Spenser has been struggling with painful headaches that cause sensitivity to light and make it hard for her to enjoy the simple joys of childhood. After testing, we learned she has volume loss and a gap in her right occipital lobe, along with a vein cluster on the left side of her brain. Her doctors have told us there are two possible underlying conditions: schizencephaly or polymicrogyria. Both are rare neurological disorders that require extensive testing to confirm.

<div>Spenser now needs both an EEG and an MRI to move forward with a clear diagnosis. The nearest specialists who can give her the care she needs are at the Mayo Clinic — a 12-hour trip for our family. The cost of travel, testing, and time away from work has placed a heavy financial and emotional burden on us. But as parents, we are determined to do everything possible to give Spenser the best chance at a long, healthy, and happy life.

<div><strong>Spenser is a fighter, and she is so deeply loved.
