My name is South, I am 30 years old, and I feel very passionately about helping this school in Jinja, Uganda. The children here are incredibly poor and often can't afford the fees to attend school. I personally sponsor six children, but I’m finding it difficult to keep up with the costs. The school is struggling with severe poverty and lacks basic resources. Teachers are paid just $2 a day, and there’s only one drop toilet for over 100 students. A single woman cooks porridge for everyone, often only producing a small cup per child. Many children don’t have textbooks, and three classrooms are outside, exposed to the elements. Any help you can offer would literally change the lives of these children, offering them a chance at education and a brighter future despite the overwhelming odds.
