Hi everyone!

We're helping raise money for my best friend so she can pay her medical bills.

Over the past year or so my bestie Sophie has been through a tumultuous and harrowing journey dealing with her chronic illnesses. It all started when she was diagnosed with endometriosis, a disease which causes severe pain in the abdomen and is incredibly under-researched. Since receiving the diagnosis, I have witnessed Sophie go through IUD insertions and removals, dramatic weight loss, nights and days of intense pain, and episodes of depression trying to combat this disease. After having a surgery to treat her endometriosis last year, Sophie suffered a brutal infection that left her with permenant nerve damage and extreme chronic fatigue.

On top of this, Sophie also has to deal with her other illnesses (Hashimoto's, PCOS, OCD) which requires expensive treatments as well.

At the moment she is seeing a variety of doctors and specialists to help her, but because Sophie is unable to work in her current condition it is very hard to find the funds to support her wellness journey.

It has been incredibly hard for me to watch my best friend's health deteriorate so quickly, and even harder for Sophie as she perseveres through all of this. She is the bravest, kindest and most funny person I know and she deserves access to proper healthcare. Other than being a great human being, Sophie is an aspiring musician and an insanely talented digital artist. She dreams to one day work in music production and behind the scenes in live entertainment, featuring her work at gigs and sharing her skills with the rest of the world.
