<div>We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friends, <strong>Sophie Fishman &amp; Laura Chamberlain</strong>, a loving queer couple who have just experienced an unimaginable loss. On June 12, 2025, a devastating fire tore through their apartment building, destroying everything they owned.

<div>They escaped with their lives and their dog, Ringo, but heartbreakingly, their sweet kitten, Yuri, did not survive. The fire moved fast, and nothing inside their home was salvageable — clothes, furniture, keepsakes, work equipment — all gone.

<div>They are now faced with the overwhelming task of starting from scratch: finding a new place to live, replacing everyday essentials, and mourning the loss of their home and their pet.
