Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my dear friend Rachel and her sweet pup, Sophie. If you know Rachel, you know how much Sophie means to her—she isn’t just a dog, she’s family, her adventure buddy, and her source of comfort through life’s ups and downs.

Recently, Sophie was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disease called Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). Her body has been attacking her own red blood cells, leaving her dangerously anemic and fighting to stay strong. She’s already endured major surgery (emergency splenectomy) , blood transfusions, hospital stays, and now specialized medications in hopes of stabilizing her.

Rachel has been doing everything possible to give Sophie the best chance at recovery, but the medical bills are adding up quickly—well into the thousands—and the treatments are ongoing. What makes this even harder is that Sophie wants to fight. Even through the weakness, her sweet spirit and love shine through ❤️

I’ve seen firsthand the bond between Rachel and Sophie, and I know how much this little dog means—not just to Rachel, but to everyone who has been lucky enough to meet her. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every donation will go directly toward Sophie’s medical care, giving her the chance she deserves to keep living a happy, healthy life.
