<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div>My name is Sophia, and I'm a 15-year-old girl reaching out for help with a very important goal: raising money to adopt a kitten from a local shelter. This isn't just about getting a pet; it's about finding a vital companion and emotional support animal to help me navigate some very difficult challenges in my life.
</div>
<div>For a while now, I have been dealing with mental health issues. Recently, I went through a traumatic experience. Unfortunately this is something I cannot erase from my life but I will not allow it to shape my life. This has made my mental health struggles feel even heavier, and it's been a really tough time for me to feel safe, calm, and hopeful.
</div>
<div>Why a kitten?
</div>
<div>Animal therapy has been shown to make a huge difference for people with anxiety and those recovering from trauma. A kitten's presence would provide me with constant comfort, emotional grounding, and a source of unconditional love. The responsibility of caring for another living being would give me purpose and help redirect my focus during moments of anxiety or distress. I truly believe a little feline friend could be the missing piece in my healing journey.
</div>
<div>What I'm doing to help myself
</div>
<div>Even though I'm only 15, I'm trying my best to be self-sufficient. I've been doing all sorts of odd jobs in my neighborhood—babysitting, walking dogs, yard work, and helping with chores—to save up money for the adoption fees, initial vet check-ups, food, and supplies. I'm dedicated to making this happen, but the costs add up quickly.

<div>How your donation will help
</div>
<div>Your contribution will go directly toward:
</div>
<div>·        Adoption fees at the local animal shelter.
</div>
<div>·        Initial vet visits and necessary vaccinations.
</div>
<div>·        Essential supplies like food, a litter box, toys, and a bed.
</div>
<div>Every dollar brings me one step closer to bringing home a companion who can help me find my way back to feeling safe and happy.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness
</div>
<div>I know everyone has their own struggles, and I appreciate you taking the time to read my story. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and significantly help my mental health recovery. If you can't donate, please consider sharing my story.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support and compassion.
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div>Sophia
