My friend Sofia Carreño is super excited about sharing one of these four gifts with you. So, don't forget to choose from the following:
1- Highlights of what she learns in her MBA every semester.
2- Tips on how to succeed in college or a pronunciation lesson for ESL students.

Sofia is an international student that is in need of your help to pay for tuition this semester. Being able to pay for her tuition means that she will stay to finish her MBA. She needs to raise $7,174.5 to afford this semester. Her first deadline is September 6th, for which she needs to pay $ 2,391.5.
I have known Sofia for a long time. And I can testify to you that she is a very responsible, hard-working, and driven woman. She works non stop. Literally. She studied to be an English teacher in Argentina, served a mission in Los Angeles, and finished her TESOL MA at BYU. When she studied at BYU she worked on campus and payed tuition all by herself. She is an A student, seriously she gets all As. She is still working trying to pay everything for herself, and saving as much as possible for school expenses.
She would take a break and save money or get a loan, but she can’t because she is an international student. As such, she doesn’t have freedom to take time off from school or qualify for a loan. She is trying to figure all this out, and I wanted to help.
Despite the fact that she believes in getting things by
her own means, there are times that we really need others to help us along the way. All she needs is the support and help of amazing people like you!
Any amount can help. Sharing with people you know can help. Please do whatever you feel to help. It's people like you that make all the difference in the world to someone else. Thank you for any and all support!

She has had the blessing to receive a non-resident tuition waiver from the MBA office (which cut her tuition in half) and the Gardner H. Russell Endowed Leadership Scholarship. However, she is still short of $7,174.5 dollars for each semester.
Because it has been so challenging to get enough funding for graduate students at UVU, she is also working towards setting up a fund that would award scholarships to graduate students that want to
start an MBA. She wants to make things easier for other students that will come after her. Things are not set and done yet, which is why she needs help this semester.
Now she is going for an MBA because she dreams to have a business in ESL here in the States and also a non-profit to promote physical and mental health in women, for women from all walks of life.
