S’mores has been my best friend since she was just eight weeks old. She’s the sweetest dog in the world, always by my side, and her favorite things include hiking, car rides, and the excitement of hearing the cheese drawer open in the refrigerator. S’mores is more than a pet—she’s the key to my happiness and has been a constant companion through everything.

 About two weeks ago, S’mores started acting very lethargic, had trouble moving, and lost her appetite. She lost ten pounds in just a few days, which was alarming. After several vet visits, we learned she needs an urgent splenectomy. Without this surgery, her spleen could burst at any moment, causing her to bleed internally. This is a very time-sensitive situation, and the funds raised will go directly to her surgery so she can have a chance at recovery.

 S’mores is still a young dog with so much life ahead of her. I want nothing more than to see her back on the hiking trails and playing in the snow this winter, which is her favorite season.
