Hello! My name is Skye and I'm a 22 year old non-binary artist. My chest is a major source of dysphoria for me and this surgery would be truly life-changing.
I have been saving hard for ages but I was in a major car accident in January where I broke my pelvis. This has meant I cannot work and the savings I had have to go towards my recovery, living costs and a new vehicle.
I have been on the GIC waitlist for over 2 years but due to covid, I will not hear anything for at least another year. To make things worse, binding is not really an option for me anymore (yet neither is not binding) because I have chronic back pain, made worse by the car accident.
I am hoping to get top surgery in the autumn, as by then I will be fully recovered from my injuries. If you can donate anything at all it would mean the absolute world.
