Making with the hope to surprise my mom with some financial relief!!

My mother, Keely Munger (single mother, self-employed hair stylist) has recently found herself in an uphill battle with COVID-19 and pneumonia. While we are grateful that she is making a smooth recovery, she will now be dealing with the stress of paying medical bills from a recent hospital visit. 

Before coming down with Covid herself, she has been in and out of work over the past few months due to quarantine periods after being exposed to the virus in her day to day life by her clients, co workers, and family. 

Even though she was still financially recovering from the salon shut down spanning from March 2020 to June 2020, she still regularly quarantined herself (resulting in time off of work) as needed. She did this with the best interest of her community and elderly clients in mind despite the financial strain that it caused.

In addition to the monetary challenges that the pandemic has caused, she has also lost medical expense coverage normally provided by her insurance company leaving her with little to no coverage for emergency treatment. Resulting in a hefty hospital bill after her Covid/pneumonia treatment. 

Throughout the pandemic my mom has been diligent when following safety protocols and has encouraged those around her to do the same. I am asking for donations to help alleviate financial stress while she continues to recover before returning to work.
