<div>Hi, I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister, <strong>Ashley, a devoted single mom whose life has been turned upside down by an urgently dangerous medical crisis.</strong> Ashley is not someone who would ever ask for help on her own, so I’m stepping in to advocate for her during what has quickly become the hardest season of her life.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Even if you’ve never met her, you know her.</strong> She’s a mom doing her best, a woman carrying more than anyone should have to, and a human facing a moment where strength alone isn’t enough. As she fights to stay strong, show up for her daughter, and keep going in the face of overwhelming uncertainty, her grace and resilience have inspired everyone around her. My hope is that her story reaches your heart and compels you to help during this critical time of need.

</div>

<div><strong>A Medical Emergency Years in the Making</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For most of her adult life, Ashley has struggled with excessive blood loss and severe anemia. She sought answers for years, but despite repeated symptoms and worsening episodes, she never received a clear diagnosis or long-term surgical plan to address the root cause. Instead, care focused on managing symptoms as they arose—iron treatments, episodic interventions, and blood transfusions to stabilize her during the most dangerous moments.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>Until now.</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Recently, Ashley’s doctors advised that the uterine fibroid discovered last year has been rapidly growing and has now completely blocked her cervix. Because of this obstruction, her body has been unable to function as it normally should, causing blood and tissue to build up internally. Over time, the pressure and pain became unbearable and ultimately led to severe blood loss that is now threatening her life.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Emergency bloodwork revealed just how critical her condition has become:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hemoglobin: 6.8 (normal 12–15)

</div>

<div>Levels associated with fainting, heart strain, and organ stress

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hematocrit: 24% (normal 35–44%)

</div>

<div>Indicates significant blood loss

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Red Blood Cell Count: Low

</div>

<div>Her body cannot carry enough oxygen

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Iron Levels (MCHC): Low

</div>

<div>Severe iron deficiency

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>RDW: Extremely High

</div>

<div>Her bone marrow is struggling to keep up

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Platelets: 566 (High)

</div>

<div>A sign her body is in emergency mode trying to compensate

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>These are not mildly abnormal results. They reflect severe anemia and a body under extreme strain, now manifesting in heart palpitations and episodes of ventricular tachycardia, very dangerous symptoms requiring urgent emergency intervention, close monitoring, and surgical correction.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Why Help Is Needed Now</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Ashley’s medical team has determined that surgery is the only path forward. Due to the fibroid’s size and proximity to critical structures, the procedure carries real risks and requires careful specialist clearance, stabilization, and a prolonged recovery period.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Ashley has been ordered off work and cannot safely stand unassisted for even short periods of time. Simple daily self-care tasks, like brushing her hair or teeth, leave her completely depleted.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thanks to the diligence and compassion of her current medical team, Ashley finally has answers and a surgical plan they believe can restore her strength, stamina, and quality of life. But getting there means time away from work, mounting medical expenses, and day-to-day costs that don’t pause simply because her body has been forced to.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While she focuses on stabilizing and preparing for surgery, she is also facing the reality of supporting herself and her teenage daughter during recovery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Being Out of Work Has Put Her in Crisis</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a single mom, losing her income has been terrifying. Ashley has no partner to share expenses, no financial cushion, and no way to keep up with living costs while she recovers, yet her body simply will not allow her to continue working.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>She is still responsible for:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Mortgage and utilities

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Groceries and household essentials

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Her daughter’s day-to-day living expenses

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Transportation to medical appointments

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Post-surgery care

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Weeks of lost wages

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Ashley has always worked hard for everything she has. Now, through no fault of her own, she is facing the possibility of falling behind on the basics needed to keep a stable home for her child.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>That is why I am here asking for help on her behalf.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>How Your Donation Helps</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We’ve set an initial goal to help cover Ashley’s immediate medical expenses, surgery preparation, and essential living costs while she is unable to work. As her recovery continues, or if additional needs arise, this goal may be adjusted to reflect the full scope of care and time needed for her to heal.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your support helps cover:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Mortgage, utilities, and basic living expenses

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Transportation and recovery-related needs

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Medical bills, labs, imaging, and specialist visits

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Blood and iron treatments

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Surgery preparation and recovery costs

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Lost wages during recovery

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>A Chance to Lift Someone Up When It Matters Most</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>Most of us will face a moment in life when we need the kindness of others. </em>This is that moment for my sister. The greatest gift we can give her right now is the ability to heal without the fear of losing her home, being unable to provide for her daughter, or falling into a financial crisis she may never fully recover from.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>If you’re able to help, </strong>no amount is too small. Whether it’s $1, $5, $10, $20, $100, or more—<strong>every donation and every share truly makes a difference.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Your support helps a mother through a life-altering medical crisis and gives her the chance to heal, recover, and return to the life she has been fighting for.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And if you’re comfortable, please leave a short encouraging comment, even just a heart or “thinking of you,” will help lift her spirits and keep this fundraiser visible so more people can find and support Ashley.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Blessings upon blessings to you and yours for reading, sharing, and supporting!</strong>
