Hurricane Ida Single mom family to Survive

Hi my name is Keirsten Garnett. I’m a single mother of two young girls Sasha Rae And Bradlei ages 6&3. I also have my elderly grandparents with me. We are all sharing a hotel room that we will not be able to afford to keep due to Hurricane Ida. We have evacuated to Dallas, Texas in order to survive the dire conditions ida has riddled our city with. I was able to get us here and book a room for a couple of days but we do not have the funds to stay for as long as we need to. Our government officials are informing us that we will not be able to go home for weeks, this is heartbreaking and scary. We are asking for funds to maintain a roof over our heads, food in our mouths and everyday living expenses . We have clothes and shoes we do not need those. I ask that you dig deep in your hearts and help us in anyway that you can.
