Hey Everyone! I wanted to share Silas’s story before requesting for y’all’s help. Silas was born out of no where what i mean by that is they said everything was fine then in no less than 15 minutes 6 nurses rushed into my room and told me I was having an emergency c section and I had 5 minutes to prepare. I Was in shock i was only 32 weeks, then when he was born I didn’t even get to lay an eye on him once. Then finally I got to see him and there was so much going on with him it was more than licking memorial could handle so after spending 5 days at licking he got transferred to children’s, that’s where they figured EVERYTHING out, that being he has things they’ve NEVER seen in anyone before and they can’t figure out what is, they found a couple things with his head, he was on oxygen, he had a tube through his belly button but it got ripped out so it had to go through his nose, he had to get a picc line through his arm and for anyone who knows what a picc line is knows that is SUPER scary. The list truly is never ending. **reasoning for why we need your help!!** With all that said anyone who knows us knows that silas has cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus which is swelling of the ventricles in the brain and he has seizures to, the cerebral palsy is the main thing not allowing him to walk but they said with the chair and walkers we could potentially get there one day so now we are on the journey to get his Wheelchair, we are asking for your help to get this wheelchair for him. It’s a power chair because his cerebral palsy affects the right side of his body so he’s not able to use both arms. We are trying to get as much money as we can together but day to day life and medications are expensive, we are not able to get Medicaid right now and we have been declined for social security for disability due to income. Anything can help us, even a simple share is enough! Thanks to everyone in advance!
