</div>
<div>My name is Matthew Ancira, and I am one of <strong>Sifu Tommy Cheng’s</strong> longtime students. Over the years, I have studied under Sifu Tommy through his teachings in Yee Chuen Do, internal Chi Kung practices, <strong>Tai Chi principles,</strong> and the deeper understanding of <strong>discipline, healing, and human development</strong> that he has carried for decades.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Beyond martial arts, Sifu Tommy has been a <strong>personal mentor</strong> whose knowledge, humility, and guidance have deeply influenced both my life and my <strong>healing work</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is being organized with Sifu Tommy’s full knowledge and blessing to help complete critical dental surgeries and restorative dental work that insurance has not covered.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At <strong>85 years old, Sifu Tommy</strong> still teaches regularly, continues sharing his sacred art, and remains deeply committed to helping others. But today, something many people take for granted has become increasingly difficult for him: eating comfortably, living without pain, and smiling with confidence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To date, over $9,000 has already been raised and spent by students and supporters to begin the process of extractions, surgical work, implants, posts, and restorative procedures. We are incredibly grateful to the dental professionals who have already donated time, care, discounts, and support to help him get this far.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But there is still more work to complete.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you grew up watching classic Kung Fu films on Saturday mornings, there is a good chance you may have already seen Sifu Tommy — known in film as Kayying Cheng. He appeared in over 48 martial arts movies between 1974 and 1999 and personally knew Bruce Lee from a young age.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yet despite his accomplishments, Sifu Tommy has remained humble throughout his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He never sought fame, wealth, or recognition. He dedicated himself to preserving and teaching traditional internal arts rooted in the original Wu Tai Chi system and the rare teachings of Yee Chuen Do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For more than 60 years, he has taught martial arts. For over 40 years, he has taught Chi Kung — an internal healing art centered on breath, structure, energy cultivation, nervous system regulation, and long-term health.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To many of us, encountering Sifu Tommy’s teachings feels like discovering a lost goldmine of wisdom that modern culture has nearly forgotten.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is why this fundraiser is not simply about dental work.
</div>
<div>It is about helping preserve the health, dignity, comfort, and longevity of a teacher who has spent his life helping others.
</div>
<div><br />
