Help Sianna and Nico Start Their Family

Hey sweet people, we are Sianna and Nico and we have been trying to have a baby for a long time. After many labs, painful tests, and rounds of IUI, we are at the last option: starting the process of IVF (in vitro fertilization).

I (Sianna) am a practicing home birth and birth center midwife, and through all of this, I have been supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Being a midwife has been the honor and joy of my life for the past 5 years, and it is also heartbreaking as we have not been able to make a family of our own.

It feels scary and exposing to ask for help but we also very badly need our community as we take this big step. IVF near where we live in California would cost around $35,000, none of which would be covered by health insurance. So, we are in France, where Nico is from and where his family lives, and where out-of-pocket medical care will not bury us in insurmountable debt. Still, the cost is so much more than we can handle. Your donations will go directly toward the cost of travel, treatment, and medications.
