<div>At Shout WSK, we support the homeless and vulnerable in our community and we are working to make homelessness in Worthing a thing of the past!

<div>Over the years, our activities have expanded to include:

<li>collecting surplus food from supermarkets and cafes for food parcels available at our regular Community Fridge sessions,
</li>
<li>running a weekly Sunday breakfast at St Clare's Day Centre,
</li>
<li>opening <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/rzkX1cnTpG8PnWTN6" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a cafe on Tarring Road</a> , bringing money into the charity to fund outreach activities, and offering clients a place to gain work experience, 
</li>
<li>running an allotment at Chesswood Farm (which supplies our pantry and cafe), and
</li>
<li>in June 2024, opening a <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fm9eRCSjtKrXGyoW7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">new charity shop</a>  selling clothing, toys, books and bric-a-brac on Tarring Road.

<div>Our activities are driven by our enthusiastic and committed team of over 60 volunteers, but there is a real financial cost to our activities. If you donate, here is an example of where your money will go:

<li>obtaining and repairing equipment needed to run our cafe and charity shop (for example, our barista coffee machine and industrial clothes steamer),
</li>
<li>fuel for our van to pick up surplus food from supermarkets and shops, 
</li>
<li>vital household items such as bedding and furniture for our clients when they are offered accomodation, and 
</li>
<li>food for our Sunday breakfasts.
