We have faced untold misery in makeshift shelters, escaping relentless bombings that have left us with nothing but the clothes on our backs.

Shaimaa’s family has endured every kind of displacement imaginable—living in hospitals, warehouses, shared rooms, and even a former chicken coop. Now, they find themselves in tents, moving from one location to another in a desperate search for safety.

<div>Displacement has drained Shaimaa and her family physically and emotionally. The psychological toll is immense, as they struggle to find safe places to stay. They’ve had to pay just to camp on sand, with no clean water or proper sanitation. Her children suffer from skin rashes and the loss of their childhood innocence. Each move leaves them more exhausted and broken.
