Help Shingi Hlanguyo get to College

Shingi Hlanguyo is a talented athlete who excels in track and rugby. He has this year represented the Zimbabwe 7s side and was instrumental in their qualification to the Rugby World Cup Sevens to be held in San Francisco in July 2018.

Shingi's 100m PB is 10.39 seconds

He has accepted a Track & Field scholarship at California State University to study Kinesiology and Exercise Science. He is set to leave on the 15th of January 2018 but needs help with his travel expenses.

Shingi has become like a little brother as I have coached and mentored him in the past 18 months. We have also helped him attain his track scholarship and helped with the processes of getting to where he is now. During this time, he has shown to be excellent ground to sow into. He works hard, is focused, polite and very coachable.

Please help this hard-working athlete get to the USA and achieve his dream. (An arrangement with his prospective coaches has been made to make sure he is available to the Cheetahs for the World Cup.)

Funds raised will be transferred to Shingi in Harare by myself via Western Union for the purchase of his Air Ticket to Los Angeles on the 18th of January.
