Shiki has been part of our family since June 2025, joining us just a few months after she was born. After experiencing several pregnancy losses and the loss of my uterus, bringing Shiki home was a source of comfort and hope. She quickly became my baby and an important part of our lives.

 On September 13th, Shiki was rushed to the emergency vet and diagnosed with FIP, a serious and life-threatening illness. She has the wet form, which means she’s struggling with fluid in her chest cavity, around her lungs and heart, and severe bloating in her stomach. Every day is a challenge, and we live in constant fear for her health. Our daily routine now revolves around her care, and sleepless nights have become the norm as we do everything possible to help her fight this disease.

 Shiki’s treatment is intensive. She needs GS-441524 medication, frequent blood tests, and a special diet to help her gain weight and get the nutrients she needs. We’re searching for high-calorie foods, toppers, gels, and bone broth, as well as feeding syringes to make sure she gets enough to eat. The costs for her vet visits, medications, and special supplies are adding up quickly. Any support will go directly toward Shiki’s medical care and the items she needs to have the best chance at recovery. Your help means everything to us as we fight for her life.
