Help Shidue´s family through a tough time

We are a group of friends fundraising for Shidue and her family in Mexico City.

For some time she has been the sole caretaker and provider of income for her family from a job at a local school. Shidue lives with her brother Alexandro who needs a lot of care, her stay-at-home mother and her father who retired some years ago from his mechanical shop. Her mother recently got into a critical medical condition and was hospitalised. She suffers from diabetes, heart condition, gallstone and dementia/Alzheimer. Helping her family has taken so much time and focus that she recently lost her job at a local school. The family situation is now quite hopeless with no income and three people to care for alone by Shidue.

In Mexico, there is no state health cover and the family needs to cover the expenses by themselves.

The highest expenditure is the fee for her mom's medical attendance and care (cost of each hospitalization, doctor's appointments, medicines, nurses for home care, home medical equipments, specialised equipment, etc).

We are trying to organize both short term support and long term solution for the family so that they can pay the medical bills and provide financial relief.

We are also working to mobilise the local community, far away family and friends and possibly charities to help the family and get Shidue a new job, hopefully an online occupation where she can use her educational management expertise and experience. Right now, we have to get the family the means to get through this crisis!
